Top Cryptocurrency Apps on iOS in Latin America: Q1 2025

The first quarter of 2025 saw a dynamic landscape for cryptocurrency apps on the iOS platform in Latin America. Here's a look at the performance of the top five apps in this category. All data is provided by Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto started the quarter with strong weekly downloads of around 119K, peaking at 157K in mid-January. However, downloads decreased steadily to approximately 30K by the end of March. The active user base followed a similar trend, starting at 1.3M, increasing to nearly 1.5M, and then declining to around 1M.

World App - Worldcoin Wallet showed a significant drop in weekly downloads, beginning at 65K and falling to just over 3K by the end of March. Active users also declined from 541K to 375K over the quarter.

Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL experienced a sharp decline in downloads from over 30K in early January to just above 1K in mid-March, before recovering slightly to 6.5K. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 202K and dropping to 130K before ending the quarter at 166K.

Lemon Cash: tu wallet crypto maintained relatively stable download numbers, beginning at 6K and peaking at 13K. Active users saw a modest fluctuation, starting at 195K and ending slightly higher at 204K.

Finally, Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto had a notable increase in downloads, reaching 30K in mid-January before dropping to around 3K by quarter's end. Active users started at 53K, increased to 66K, and then gradually decreased to 37K.
